KAWAI SPONSORS MBS FM RADIO IN SYDNEY, MELBOURNE, BRISBANE AND ADELAIDE
Starting
in 2010, Kawai is a proud sponsor of Australia’s only fine music
network. The stations: 2MBS FM Sydney, 3MBS FM Melbourne, 4MBS FM Brisbane and 5MBS FM Adelaide play a mixture of classical, jazz and
other fine music and keep the community informed about music events and
happenings in the Australian music scene.
They are all community
radio stations supported by subscriptions from listeners and are
staffed mainly by volunteer announcers who have enthusiasm for and
expertise in their music specialty.
They even boast their own musical groups and choirs who perform music
that can be broadcast across the MBS FM network. There are also a
number of concert programs broadcast by the stations, including the
Kawai Piano Series from Griffith University in Brisbane, which is
recorded each year by 4MBS FM.
