The Sunshine Coast is a region of Queensland encompassing an area in the southeastern part of the state. With its stunning beaches, lush rainforests, and majestic mountains, it's no wonder why the Sunshine Coast is one of the most desirable places to live in Australia. Maroochydore is a popular urban area on the Sunshine Coast with more than 16,000 residents. It's located right in the center of the Sunshine Coast, and is home to my favorite beach, Mooloolaba.
The cities of Mooloolaba and Maroochydore are so close to each other that they are almost one. Among them, they offer beautiful beaches, lots of cafes and restaurants, large shopping malls, and the beautiful Maroochy River. Mountain Creek is another great option for those looking to live on the Sunshine Coast. Located between the Mooloolah River and Buderim, it's a popular investment option due to its 3 km distance from the beaches of Kawana Waters and Mooloolaba.
The suburb has several accredited schools, plus a TAFE and a university campus within a 10 km radius. Plus, you'll love the lakes, river access, bike trails, and beautiful parks that surround the Mountain Creek housing estates. Sippy Downs is another great option for those looking for a place to live on the Sunshine Coast. It has two shopping centers: at the east end is the University of the Sunshine Coast, with a rapidly developing shopping center; and at the western end is the town of Chancellor Park, with numerous shops and cafes, a hotel, a gym, a dog park, a car dealership and a couple of large appliance stores and many other facilities.
Caloundra is another great option for those looking for an affordable place to live on the Sunshine Coast. It has an established public transport network that will take you all over the Sunshine Coast or directly to Brisbane. Plus, it's probably the cheapest when it comes to properties among the three main cities on the Sunshine Coast.Buderim is located in the heart of the Sunshine Coast region and overlooks the beaches of Maroochydore and Mooloolaba. It's also home to Montville and Maleny where you can continue your panoramic tour or travel about 20 km outside the Sunshine Coast area to see the Glass House Mountains.Peachester is another great option for those looking for a place to live on the Sunshine Coast.
You'll be living in the mountains but you'll have easy access to Sunshine Coast beaches and business facilities.It would be very difficult to make a bad choice on the Sunshine Coast as it is very habitable and has an amazing climate.
